Behemoth is a 2011 made for television film aboout a monster that emerges from Mt. Lincoln to wreak havoc on the fictional Washington state town of Ascension in response to global environmental deterioration. The spectacle of a monstrous creature awakened from his ancient slumber is reminiscent of John Brunner's 1960 novel The Atlantic Abomination.

For a made for television film, Behemoth offered good performaces by William B. Davis, most familiar for his perfomaces as the evil "Cigarette Smoking Man" on X-Files, Ed Quinn and Pascale Hutton.
