Building Harlequin's Moon is a novel by Larry Niven and Brenda Cooper set in the distant future where a population of space travellers and their descendants, marooned in an unhospitable solar system, attempt to terraform a moon and construct an industrial society capable of refueling their ship so they can continue to their original destination.
