The Confederated States of Terra identifies a fictional future country mentioned once in Norman Spinrad's 1967 novel The Men in the Jungle on pages 11-12, where it is described as a global government formed by the Atlantic Union, Greater Soviet Union and Great China. These three superpowers correspond to Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia in George Orwell's novel 1984.
