Cortexiphan is a fictional drug in the the television series Fringe. Created by Doctor William Bell in 1981, the drug prevents the theorized natural shrinking of brainpower, resulting in individuals with increased mental ability. Although normal human beings can only change their perception with the drug, Cortexiphan-positives can change other people's perceptions as well. This, in turn, changes reality.
