Darkfriend

Darkfriends, also known as "Friends of The Dark", are people who have sworn oaths to serve the Dark One. Many of them did so without expecting that the Dark One would call them into active service, but are now bound by their oaths. Darkfriends are found everywhere--among the Aes Sedai, the Aiel, and all walks of life. Among the Seanchan, they are called Atha'an Shadar, and the Aiel call them "Shadowrunners".
