Porak is a fictional animal in Richard Paul Russo's 1988 novel Inner Eclipse. They are described as squat dark quadrupeds with large eyes. native to the planet Nightshade, their sigificance lies in their riole as the primary animal source for producing the drug Flex (p. 247). Poraks eat the bright blue flowered lysium plants which contain the drug pseudo-Flex, and are then milked of their saliva to produce the highly addicitive Flex.
