Search refers to the process by which the Weyrs send out dragons and dragonriders to search for possible Candidates for Impression. Most queenriders are found on Search, and some male riders as well. Search for male riders was particularly common in the Ninth Pass and the First Pass, both periods of rapid increase in draconic population.
