Wyoming "Wyoh" Knott-Davis is a major character in Robert A. Heinlein's 1966 novel The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. A beautiful political agitator from the colony of Hong Kong in Luna, she is motivated by anger at the callous and indifferent Lunar Authority for personal reasons (when being transported to Luna as a young girl along with her convict mother, a radiation storm contaminated her ova, causing her to later give birth to a deformed child which had to be euthanized) and joins a revolutionary conspiracy to overthrow it.
